Spring Cave

Peter Swart, April 2026

Spring Cave is small cavern under a ridge, and not really a cave. The entrance is a loose soil slope into a small damp chamber. The total cave length is approximately 4m long, with the ceiling approximately 3m high at its highest point.

It is included here as although it does not have permanent darkness, it is home to a number of invertebrates, and simulates the same conditions as a cave entrance.
