Broken Pot Grotto Cave

Length: 62m  |  Grade: 5C  |  Surveyed: 1984-05-01

Peter Swart, March 2019

Description

The broken iron pot that gave this caves it name, was still at the entrance when this was written. From the entrance, a passage runs into the mountain, then turns left, and runs parallel to the outside cliff, and links to Commemoration Hall.

At the point where the passage gets too small for humans, another small passage runs into the mountain towards JohAlvin Cave.

While surveying this cave, Honey the labrador decide to assist me by lying on my legs each time to tried to take a reading. Luckily, the cave is small and there where few readings to take.
