The Gullet Cave

Between Muizenberg Peak, and Lower Steenberg Ridge is a broken and cracked rock outcrop, known as Tong Kop. One of the cracks runs through the outcrop, and is accessible from both sides of the outcrop. The western side of the crack diverges into two passages. The lower left passage has a sandy floor, and terminates after a few metres. The right branch is about 1.5m higher than than left hand passage, runs through the outcrop to the eastern entrance.
